The After Hours Espresso Martini

Everyone’s been asking for my recipe I shared on social media recently, so here it is!

The After Hours Espresso Martini:

I used a kitchen scale to weigh out my portions just to be sure everything was accurate.

In a cocktail shaker filled halfway with CUBED ice (to prevent too much melting), add:

  •  2oz OYO honey vanilla bean vodka

  • .5oz Kahlua

  • .25oz Averna

  •  1.5oz FRESH espresso or Stumptown cold brew concentrate

Now shake it for 30 FULL SECONDS. Must be for 30 seconds so start your timer! A good shake leads to a properly chilled and velvety textured martini with a lasting layer of foam.

Strain into your martini glass and garnish with three coffee beans for good luck.

*Must be fresh espresso for a true flavor. I use a shot from my Nespresso machine which is exactly 1.5 ounces.

**If your preference is for a more creamy martini, only add .25oz Kahlua and .5oz OYO bourbon cream.

***I have also been experimenting with different coffee liqueurs in place of Kahlua. Give it a shot and see which you like best.
